There are more than 7,000 harmful chemicals found in cigarette smoke,

with more than 70 of these chemicals known to cause cancer. In fact, a pack-a-day smoker consumes about 75,000 doses of these chemicals in a single year.

What happens when you light a cigarette?

Thousands of chemicals like methanol, ammonia, formaldehyde, arsenic, cadmium, and many other toxic chemicals are inhaled into your lungs and released into the air around you. This mixture of dangerous chemicals can damage every organ in your body and cause cancer, heart disease, lung diseases, and circulatory diseases.
